Beautiful field on a hill in the Fango Valley, surrounded by trees, with high density of songbirds.
The Fango Valley is a beautiful area, with a high density of birds compared to the rest of the island of Corsica. There are several loops to walk around the Fango river, with this field around Manso producing some beautiful species. For example Corsican Finch, Vrabac kamenjar, Crnogrla Strnadica, Sredozemna muharica and Hridna lastavica.
Manso is located in the Fango valley in the northwest of the island of Corsica. There are some parking spaces along the road at the foot of the hill every now and then. From there, you can make a circular walk in various ways, partly on the paved road and then on unpaved paths. The part to Manso can be walked there and back in an hour, the circular walks can be made as long as desired. The site can also be reached by car, but then a round trip is not possible.
