Description
Étang Turlet is located at the southern exit of the town of Villars-les-Dombes. The lake has mainly open shallow water with some scarce reedbeds and wet woodlands. On the northern bank of the lake is a bird hide. Among the bird you can observe are Patka Kreketaljka, Zviždara, Patka Lastarka, Patka Gogoljica, Krunata Patka, Glavata Patka, Kržulja, Patka Pupčanica, Crvenokljuni Labud, Čaplja Danguba, Bijela roda, Eja Močvarica, Bjelobrada Čigra, Ćubasti Gnjurac, Mali Gnjurac and Crnogrli Gnjurac.

Access
Étang Turlet is located south of the town of Villars-les-Dombes. You can park along the road close to the lake. Click on the P in the map for directions. From parking spot it is just a 100 m walk to the bird hide.
