Description

Etang Noir is a popular wintering spot for surface-feeding ducks, and breeding area for marshland passerines. Veliki Trstenjak, Trstenjak cvrkutić, Trstenjak Rogožar, Močvarna Strnadica, Vuga, Pupavac, Kokošica, Žuta strnadica, Velika Bijela Čaplja, Mala Bijela Čaplja, Čaplja Danguba, Patka Kreketaljka and Patka Pupčanica. Kosac and waders on migration.

Access

The reserve is located west of the main Bayonne-Bordeaux highway and midway between Hossegor and Souston. Click the P on the map for directions. The circular trails marked are each about 1 km.
