Description
Etang David is a place filled with bush birds, especially in springtime: Crnokapa Grmuša, Slavuj, Grlica are easy to find, as well as Vodomar and Patka Gogoljica on the pond. Woodpeckers can be found on deciduous trees: Veliki Djetlić, Mali djetao, Zelena žuna, Crna žuna.
The place is also a nesting area for herons: Gak, Siva Čaplja, Čaplja Govedarica can be spotted from the pond side.
Some raptors: Crna lunja, Sokol Lastavičar and with chance Crvena lunja and Zmijar are easy to spot hunting around.
Unusual birds like Sjenica Mošnjarka are possible during a walk across this picturesque little place.

From St Just St Rambert Follow the direction "Chambles". After the lights, turn right to the signposted road "Etang David", unitl the; car park. The entrance of the site is across the raos along the canal
