Description
Vuosaaren Kartano and Nordsjö Manor attract a variety of birds throughout the year. There's a small forest like area right next to the park that provides shelter for wildlife and the Uutela forest is on the other side of the road, so you never know what birds can visit the park. During the hot summer months, local bird enthusiasts bring water to a dent on a big rock that has proven to be a popular pool for birds like Muharica, Plavetna Sjenica, Crnoglava Muharica, Juričica, Veliki Djetlić, Velika Sjenica, Vrabac, Poljski Vrabac, Zeba and Zelendur.
The trees and bushes in the area provide food and shelter for birds like Crnokapa Grmuša, Brezov Zviždak, Zviždak, Kratkokljuni puzavac and Crvendać. In autumn the parks multiple oak trees attract Šojka and birders have spotted Planinski djetlić in the area during autumn as well. Some of the rarer bird sightings have been Mrka Crvenrepka and Leganj.
