Ruusuniemi is a nice place for observing waterfowl as they swim around the area or fly by. Divlja Patka , Patka Batoglavica , Krunata Patka , Crvenokljuni Labud , Kanadska guska , Žutokljuni Labud , Veliki ronac and Mali ronac are a common sight from this spot. Birders have also sighted Bijeli ronac among other duck species and Velika Bijela Čaplja flying by. There's also a bird feeding spot in a walking distance during winter times.
