Description
The Cape Aspro trail is a hike that offers great views of the sea and probably the steepest white cliffs in Cyprus. It is a linear trail. Depending on how far you walk the trail and go back, the estimated hike time is 3-4 hours. One particularly impressive spot is Cape Aspro. The route is challenging, but the scenery is beautiful. Birds you can see along the way include Čukar, Bijela Čiopa, Pčelarica, Sivi Sokol, Elenorin sokol, Kukmasta Ševa, Ciparska grmupa, Crnoglava Grmuša, Modrokos and Cyprus Wheatear.

The Cape Aspro trail is located in the south of the island of Cyprus near the town of Pissouri. Both Paphos and Limassol are just 30 minutes away. You can park in Pissouri and walk from there. Press P on the map for directions to a parking. The trail can be challenging in places. The paths are stony, unmarked and sometimes run directly along the precipice. There are no refreshment stops or drinking water on the hike. And no shade! Take enough water.
