Pompstation Meerbeek is pretty good for autumn migration watching because it is the hightest point (90m) in the area. Birds often fly lower because they have to cross the plateau. Birds that are often seen are Poljska Ševa, Lastavica and Veliki Vranac. But rarer species have also been seen in the years, like Primorska Trepetljka, Šareni kulik and Stepska Eja. The local birds include Fazan, Škanjac, Žuta strnadica, Vjetruša and Crnoglavi Batić.

Pompstation Meerbeek is located between Brussels and Leuven, south of the village of Meerbeek. You can park next to the road, but the easiest and least disturbing way is to go by bike or on foot. Press P on the map for directions.
