The Kriephoek is an old Scheldt meander and a public angling water. Kokošica, Kukavica, Svilorepa, Trstenjak cvrkutić and Trstenjak Mlakar feel at home here. Other birds you can see are Vodomar, Ćubasti Gnjurac, Crnoglavi Batić, Riječni Galeb, Škanjac, Kobac, Vjetruša and Veliki Djetlić.
