The reservoir of Eeckhoven has a spacious bird hide that offers the opportunity to observe quietly. Mali Gnjurac, Ćubasti Gnjurac, Krunata Patka, Kržulja, Glavata Patka, Liska, Veliki Vranac often swim right in front of the bird hide. Siva Čaplja, Galeb Klaukavac, Velika Bijela Čaplja and other gulls are further away, so a telescope is useful. Sometimes you can spot a rare visitor like Delaverski galeb.

Nederlands: Het waterspaarbekken van Eeckhoven is een ideale biotoop voor tal van watervogels. Tijdens de vogeltrek is het ook een rustplaats. Eeckhoven grenst aan de Nete. De ruime vogelkijkhut biedt de kans om rustig te observeren. Mali Gnjurac, Ćubasti Gnjurac, Krunata Patka, Kržulja, Glavata Patka, Liska, Veliki Vranac zwemmen vaak vlak voor de vogelkijkhut. The path to the bird hide runs through meadows where birds often forage. On one of the trees there is a nest box for Vjetruša where you can often observe it in the nest box. Škanjac also often passes by here.
