This walk from Buchholz leads through impressive conifers and low deciduous trees that provide a varied habitat for birds on both sides of the Frankenbach stream. Among the birds you can observe are Gavran, Krstokljun, Zimovka, Crnoglava sjenica, Batokljun, Brgljez, Crna žuna, Crvena lunja, Crna Roda and Kratkokljuni puzavac.

There is a parking lot just outside the hamlet of Buchholz. Click on the P in the map for directions. The area can be visited on foot or by bicycle. The circular route indicated on the map is about 6,5 km.
