Description
The Schlatzingeraue Natur Park is located in the center of the Maltatal and consists of a small resting area surrounded with wet grasslands and forests next to the river. A small track leads you around the grassland and next to the river, where species such as Gorska Pastirica and Vodenkos can be seen. Small patches of bushes and scattered trees are great for songbirds, like Crnokapa Grmuša and Kratkokljuni puzavac and woodpeckers, like Veliki Djetlić.
The grassland has several patches with bushes in which species, such as Grmuša čevrljinka, can be found. With a bit of luck, a Rusi Svračak might show up here too! The forests, mainly pine, are great for species such as Kukmasta sjenica, Jelova sjenica and Vatroglavi Kraljić. Also, fairly large numbers of Kreja can be found here too!

The area has been appointed as resting area and provides a parking lot and several picknick areas. There's a small path surrounding the wet grassland area and next to the river.
