Description

The estuary of the Murchison River is part of Kalbarri National Park and home to a nice array of birdlife. The birds you can observe in the area include Caspian Tern, Australian Pelican, Australian Ringneck, Red-tailed Black-Cockatoo, egrets, kites and ducks.

Access

The estuary of the Murchison River is located just north of Kalbarri. The town borders directly on the estuary. From the mouth of the river in the town, you can easily explore the eastern banks of the estuary on foot. But you can also drive with your car or a bike. Many places to park or make a stop.
