Description

With over 1000 eBird checklists and over 180 species recorded, this location has been highly productive for a good range of Broome's birds. Sought after birds include Brown Booby (roosting on mooring buoys), Lesser Frigatebird (high overhead), Black-chinned Honeyeater and Pheasant Coucal.

Migratory shorebirds here include Sanderling, Pacific Golden Plover, Grey-tailed Tattler and Great Knot.

Vagrant birds have often been recorded including House Swift on an almost annual basis during storm build-ups.
