The beautiful cliff faces of this island form great locations for colonies of many different birds, including Crave à bec rouge, Fulmar boréal, Pingouin torda, Puffin des Anglais, Guillemot de Troïl, Fou de Bassan, Faucon pèlerin and Faucon crécerelle, with grey seals populating some of the beaches. Many of these can be observed quite well from both the island itself or from the water. Other birds, such as Chevêche d'Athéna and Traquet motteux, are also present on the island.
