Description

Hazelbank park is situated on the shores of Belfast Lough and from there you can explore the tidal shoreline and pools. Among the birds you can see are Bernache cravant, Eider à duvet, Harle huppé, Sarcelle d'hiver, Courlis cendré, Huîtrier pie, Tadorne de Belon, Canard chipeau, Fuligule milouin, Harle piette, Courlis corlieu, Bécasseau sanderling, Bécassine des marais, Pingouin torda, Sterne pierregarin, Choucas des tours, Corneille mantelée, Grand Corbeau and Sittelle torchepot.

Accès

Travel from Belfast on M2 then M5 at first roundabout take third exit into Hazelbank Park. There is plenty of carparking. You can travel by bike from Belfast along the cycleway which hugs the coast. Easy walking
