It is a lake which is almost dry. There are springs where bird diversity is high. It is a fruitful place in terms of bird diversity, especially in spring.

Description

Lake Acıgöl is an easy place that you can go by car. There is a paved road close to the lake shore also where the springs appear. Around the springs, there are water birds and passerines and also birds of preys such as Circaète Jean-le-Blanc and Buse féroce.

You can reach Lake Acıgöl by car. Public transport is not an easy way to get there. There is a main road between Denizli and Afyon that you can use to go the lake. Click on a P in the map for directions or coordinates.
