Gattiker- und Waldweiher is an area with dense forest containing two ponds with reeds and water lilies. You can walk around the ponds. Among the birds you can observe are Épervier d'Europe, Mésange nonnette, Roitelet triple-bandeau, Roitelet huppé, Coucou gris, Pic épeiche, Martin-pêcheur d'Europe and Pigeon ramier.

The Gattiker- und Waldweiher are located in the municipality of Thalwil, in the Horgen District of the Canton of Zurich. Paid parking in Gattikon. Press P on the map for directions to the parking. The pond in Gattikon can be reached from Langnau am Albis train station in around 15 minutes on foot. The Gattiker- und Waldweiher can be visited on foot and by bike.
You can make a circular walk around both ponds. The total distance of the walk is around 2,5 km.
