In spring and summer at the small lake, Sunnerstaviken, you have a change of finding Grèbe esclavon, Grèbe jougris or in rare cases Grèbe castagneux. Go south of the lake and you find yourself in a forested ridge, where you can find your typical forest birds. If you are at the skislope during winter you have a change of finding Grive mauvis and in certain years Durbec des sapins will feed on Rowan-berries. On the other side of the river a lot of geese usually rest during spring and autumn migration, species like Oie rieuse and Oie à bec court have been found there.
