Linudden has a rich birdlife with many species. In the zone between the forest and the reed bay there is a coastal meadow area. The area was set aside in 1947 as a nature reserve for its rich flora. Among the birds you can encounter are Fauvette des jardins, Sittelle torchepot, Pic épeiche, Pouillot siffleur, Loriot d'Europe, Chouette hulotte and Fauvette à tête noire.
