Description
Getnäset is an island in the big lake of Storsjön. The best time is when the ice melts and the lake bottom is exposed, usually in early May. Then a large number of ducks, waders and Grue cendrée gather here to forage before moving on. Among the birds you can see are Combattant varié, Chevalier arlequin, Phalarope à bec étroit, Canard pilet, Macreuse noire and Macreuse brune.
