Description
Fysingen nature reserve has almost 100 breeding species and is a popular birding destination for it's waders, geese and other waterbirds. But also to see birds of prey. The beach meadows with mighty reed belts are bird protection areas and also rich in birds.
Busard des roseaux can be seen flying low over the reeds, but you can also see birds of prey such as Faucon hobereau, Faucon crécerelle, Buse pattue and Balbuzard pêcheur. The Pygargue à queue blanche has its nest on the island Stora Kyngan in the middle of the lake. You can also hear the honking of Butor étoilé and the Rossignol progné sings through the night. Other nice birds you might see are Roselin cramoisi, Garrot à oeil d'or, Harle piette, Grue cendrée, Rousserolle turdoïde, Combattant varié and Chevalier arlequin.
