Fävren is a good place for geese and ducks. The bird tower is surrounded by reeds. Very beautiful area for birding and wonderful to sit and listen to the bird life. Among the birds you can see are Busard des roseaux, Grand Cormoran, Pygargue à queue blanche, Grèbe castagneux, Râle d'eau, Coucou gris, Cygne chanteur and Harle bièvre.

In Kungsäter take towards Horred, drive 500 meters and a sign shows the bird tower. From the parking lot it is another 500 meters walk along kungsätersån until the bird tower at the mouth of the river out into Fävren. The last part of the walk is on a chipboard.
