Description

Djurle Myr is a very open landscape. An excellent area to see harriers (Busard Saint-Martin, Busard cendré, Busard des roseaux), falcons (Faucon hobereau, Faucon crécerelle, Faucon pèlerin) and many other birds of prey. You can look from the car and use your car as a shelter. Large groups of Grue cendrée and geese can be spotted. Tarier des prés in abundance.

The area lies between the towns of Uråsa, Ingelsatd and Jät. It is an agricultural area, the gravel road is on the right, coming from Uråsa. It is best to spot from the car, or near your car. The fields belong to the farmers and they are not happy when you walk into the fields.

Informations supplémentaires

Parking is quite difficult, the gravel road is owned by the farmers in the area, and they have the right to drive freely there with large tractors at all times. So park the car in such a way that they can always pass. When you get out of the car, stay close so you can react to move your car. As bird watchers we don't want to argue with the farmers, so that we are refused entry.
