Description
The Sendero Marambay begins next to the Molino del Arrierillo. From there you continue along a coastal path and pass a gate, entering the saltpans of the Salina de Dolores. You arrive at an observation platform which has good views of the interior of the bay and the marshes. You can see ducks, waders, gulls and Spatule blanche. The path continues to a second viewpoint from where you can observe Flamant rose. You can continue to the Arillo River (border between Cádiz and San Fernando). From there you have to return to the starting point. Among the birds that you can expect to see are Spatule blanche, Flamant rose, Aigrette garzette, Sterne caugek, Goéland railleur, Chevalier gambette, Bécasseau variable, Tournepierre à collier, Courlis corlieu, Grand Gravelot, Gravelot à collier interrompu, Pluvier argenté, Échasse blanche and Perdrix rouge. In winter there is a chance to see Bernache cravant.
