The town of La Seu de Urgell is located on the river Rio Segre. The river area that is close to a canoeing training park, is nice for a bird walk. Along the way marsh birds, passerines and raptors can be spotted. Among the birds you can see are Martin-pêcheur d'Europe, Rossignol philomèle, Cincle plongeur, Bergeronnette des ruisseaux, Grand Cormoran, Héron cendré, Sittelle torchepot, Fauvette à tête noire, Rougequeue noir and Huppe fasciée.
