Description
Punta de Sa Pedrera is an easily accessed area of rocky coastline with excellent views of the area. Monticole bleu can be seen in the scrub around the top of the cliffs below which Faucon pèlerin breeds. Cochevis de Thékla can also bee seen in the area.
During migration large numbers of hirundines and swifts can pass overhead and the occasional wader can drop onto the shoreline. It's also worth checking the area for passerine migrants such as Tarier des prés and Rougequeue à front blanc. Offshore Goéland leucophée and Goéland d'Audouin are easily seen and when there is sufficient wind both Puffin de Scopoli and Puffin des Baléares can be seen in San Antonio bay. Cormoran huppé is also present in good numbers.
