Accès

You get there by car. I camped in l'éucaliptus. The delta is flat. In one lake saw about 10 Talève sultane. The Crabier chevelu was not to be missed. At the border of the sea I spotted Alouette pispolette. There are 3 main viewpoints in the lagoon, but the birding is good on many other spots. A circular route around the lagoon in 10 km. Best option is by bike.

In autumn, migration is reversed from north to south including dotterel and many waders. In winter, there are many winter visitors, such as divers, black-necked grebe, stork, stonechat, scoters, booted eagle, osprey and many species of waders.

Of course also the species that are there all year round such as moustached warbler, audouin's gull, slender-billed gull, egrets, penduline tit, cetti warbler, flamingo, short-toed lark, crested lark, red crested pochard, Kentish plover.
