The valley of the river Matarraña and its tributary the Ulldemó are an ideal combination of water, mountains, gorges and cultivated land. The Ulldemó forms the gorge of La Pesquera and arises on the flanks of Monte Caro. Every morning, more than 300 Vautour fauve migrate from the gorges and mountains to Mas de Buñol where they are fed. But in the valley you very often see Circaète Jean-le-Blanc and Aigle botté. At the water are many Martin-pêcheur d'Europe and Bergeronnette des ruisseaux. The pig and chicken farms attract many songbirds that are hunted by Autour des palombes and Faucon pèlerin. Among the other birds you can see are Mésange huppée, Mésange noire, Mésange charbonnière, Gobemouche noir, Huppe fasciée and Grand Corbeau.

El Ulldemó forma el desfiladero de La Pesquera y surge en los flancos del Monte Caro. Cada mañana, más de 300 Vautour fauve migran desde los desfiladeros y montañas hasta el Mas de Buñol donde se alimentan. Pero en el valle se ven muy a menudo Circaète Jean-le-Blanc y Aigle botté. En el agua hay muchos Martin-pêcheur d'Europe y Bergeronnette des ruisseaux. Las granjas de cerdos y pollos atraen a muchos pájaros cantores que son cazados por Autour des palombes y Faucon pèlerin. Beceite can only be reached by car from Valderrobres via the A 2412. Just after the tunnel and before the bridge over the river Matarraña you can turn left into the valley via the Camino del Ulldemó. You can park the car at the intersection and continue on foot. If you drive further by car, there are not much parking possibilities. Via Beceite you can go to the Camino de la Pesquera. In the summer you will have to park at the cemetery. You can explore the valley of the Pesquera on foot. On the way to holiday home La Pedrera you can follow a paved road to the water.

Espagnol: Solo se puede llegar a Beceite en coche desde Valderrobres por la A 2412. Justo después del túnel y antes del puente sobre el Matarraña se puede girar a la izquierda hacia el valle por el Camino del Ulldemó. Puede aparcar el coche en el cruce y continuar a pie. Si conduce más lejos en coche, no hay mucho aparcamiento. Por Beceite puedes ir al Camino de la Pesquera. En verano tendrás que aparcar en el cementerio. Puede explorar el valle de la Pesquera a pie. De camino a la casa de vacaciones La Pedrera, puede seguir un camino asfaltado hasta el agua.
