It is a good place to see both forest birds and water birds like Guifette leucoptère, Fuligule nyroca, Érismature à tête blanche, Héron cendré and Bécassine des marais. The area has good accessibility and cafes and bars nearby. The beach is also very close and offers some extra birding opportinities.
