Charco de San Ginés is a small bay in the middle of the city of Arrecife where the ebb and flow of the tides creates a mudflat where many wading and shore birds of Lanzarote can be found. Despite being a busy tourist area, there are still an incredible number of birds to see. Birds you can observe include Aigrette garzette, Goéland leucophée, Courlis corlieu, Grand Gravelot, Gravelot à collier interrompu, Tournepierre à collier and Bécasseau sanderling.
