You can make nice walks around the little lake, along the south bank of the Eerste River and other areas of the estate. Birds you can observe include African Fish-eagle, Sacred Ibis, African Hoopoe Lesser Swamp Warbler, Jackal Buzzard, Fork-tailed Drongo-Cuckoo, Malachite Kingfisher,Giant Kingfisher, Yellow Bishop, Karoo Prinia, Levaillant's Cisticola, Southern Double-collared Sunbird, Maccoa Duck and many more.
