Vrbina is a large water body, bordering open fields. Wintering location for waterfowl and a migration hotspot in spring. The area is an active hunting location for Pygargue à queue blanche. Sterne pierregarin breeds in the area and Pygargue à queue blanche is nesting near by. The accumulation lake is a wintering location for Plongeon catmarin.

Drive onto the lake bank at 45.935140, 15.514935 (this point is marked on the map with a P, click on it to get directions to that point). This point is is the entrance to one of the multiple gravel roads (Google Maps). Continue on it until 45.897743, 15.587369. The road is open for traffic and NOT private. The road is extremely wide so you can stop anywhere on it. Recommended birding from the car with frequent stops and spotting scope scans. On the other side of the lake one can also start at 45.901926, 15.584551 and finish at 45.927120, 15.541201, or vice versa.
