Labudovo Okno is the place where the agricultural plain of Deliblato meets the Danube river near the Romanian - Serbian border. Because of the building of Djerdap Dam, Danube has flooded surrounding Stevan’s Plains (Serbian: Stevanove ravnice) and made perfect habitat for gathering of birds. Here you can see all kinds of waterfowl species, mainly at winter time. Fuligule milouin, Fuligule morillon, Garrot à oeil d'or, Fuligule milouinan and Grèbe esclavon are regular species that gather at winter time. There are also quite many geese that gather here, mainly Oie cendrée and Oie rieuse.
During spring migration there are few species of gulls and terns, some other birds like Huppe fasciée, Pygargue à queue blanche, Foulque macroule, Canard colvert and Canard pilet. During fall migration there are many small birds migrating through here, species like Bergeronnette printanière (à tête grise), Hypolaïs ictérine, Phragmite des joncs, Rousserolle effarvatte and Gobemouche gris. Also there are migrating raptors like Balbuzard pêcheur and Bondrée apivore.

Labudovo okno is only accessible by car. Getting there on foot is hard and you need to know environment. Always stick to established tracks and respect wildlife!
