Description
Glinara in Višnjica is a 550 metres long loess buttress formed by past clay excavation for nearby brickyards, surrounded by agricultural and ruderal habitats, forests, thickets and hedgerows. Birds include 300+ pairs of Guêpier d'Europe, making it the largest bee-eater colony in Serbia, 100+ pairs of Étourneau sansonnet, 10+ pairs of cliff-holes nesting Martinet noir, also Pie bavarde, locally specialised in preying upon adult bee-eaters (pers. obs.), plus Chevêche d'Athéna and Bruant ortolan.
