Karpinka Bay is located near the marina on the shore of the Kamieniecki Reservoir in the tourist town of Kamień Pomorski. Many species of birds can be observed from the waterfront and pier, often from a close distance. These are mainly gulls: Goéland argenté, Goéland marin, Goéland pontique, Goéland cendré, Mouette rieuse. In addition to the gulls, you can often see Canard colvert, Cygne tuberculé, Foulque macroule, Grèbe huppé, Harle piette, Harle bièvre, Fuligule morillon, Garrot à oeil d'or, Grande Aigrette, and sometimes rarer species appear, for example: Mouette mélanocéphale or Plongeon arctique. It is quite common to see a hunting Pygargue à queue blanche.

The observation site is on the northern waterfront in Kamień Pomorski. There are plenty of parking spaces in the city. Press a P on the map for directions. You can get everywhere on foot or by bike or by watercraft. You can get across the bay to the other side by a footbridge.
