The best time for observations at Zalew Zemborzycki is spring and the migration period. Some birds can be seen in this place every year. Some migrating birds rest in the reservoir for a few hours, others stay for several weeks. In the reservoir one could meet Cygne de Bewick, Cygne chanteur, Harle bièvre, Combattant varié, Balbuzard pêcheur, Canard souchet, Sarcelle d'été, Oie rieuse, Garrot à oeil d'or. Every year there are: Chevalier guignette, Grèbe huppé, Martin-pêcheur d'Europe, Grèbe castagneux, Fuligule milouin, Fuligule morillon, Grande Aigrette, Héron cendré, Busard des roseaux and many others. The birds are used to people, so they swim and sometimes fly very close to the shore. It is best to go for observations at dawn. As is usually the case, sometimes seeing more interesting species requires patience and repeated visits to the reservoir.

Polski : Najlepszy czas na obserwacje to wiosna oraz okres przelotów. Część ptaków można spotkać w tym miejscu corocznie. Część wędrujących ptaków odpoczywa na zalewie kilka godzin , inne pozostają przez kilka tygodni. Na zalewie można było spotkać Cygne de Bewick Cygne chanteur, Harle bièvre, Combattant varié , Balbuzard pêcheur, Canard souchet , Sarcelle d'été, Oie rieuse, Garrot à oeil d'or, Chevalier sylvain, Bécassine des marais. Co roku są: Chevalier guignette, Grèbe huppé, Martin-pêcheur d'Europe, Grèbe castagneux, Fuligule milouin, Fuligule morillon, Grande Aigrette, Héron cendré, Busard des roseaux i wiele innych. Ptaki są przyzwyczajone do ludzi, zatem podpływają i podlatują niekiedy bardzo blisko brzegu. Najlepiej wybrać się na obserwacje o świcie. Jak to zwykle bywa - niekiedy zobaczenie ciekawszych gatunków wymaga cierpliwości i wielokrotnego przybycia nad zalew.
