Tarnowa Łąka - Dolina Rowu Polskiego is an area of open meadows surrounded by forest both from the south and from the north. It is a place of breeding, resting and feeding for many interesting bird species such as Grue cendrée, Busard Saint-Martin, Busard cendré, Faucon crécerelle and of passerines like Tarier pâtre and Tarier des prés. In spring, especially when the area is flooded, you can see many species of ducks, as well as Cygne tuberculé, Cygne chanteur and Cygne de Bewick. A permanent resident is Pie-grièche grise. In 2016, the presence of a subspecies of the Pie-grièche grise - Lanius exubitor homeyeri, was recorded. In spring you can hear the Râle des genêts.
