Stawy w Janowicach is a habitat for many species of birds. The place can be visited all year round. Access is easy, the terrain is flat and low. You can observe the birds on the ponds and in the nearby meadows. Among the birds you can encounter are Grue cendrée, Oie rieuse, Garrot à oeil d'or, Fuligule morillon, Oie cendrée, Rougegorge familier, Roitelet huppé, Vanneau huppé, Héron cendré, Grande Aigrette, Grand Gravelot, Combattant varié, Phragmite des joncs, Cigogne blanche and Mésange à longue queue.

It is best to park your car in the parking lot next to the church in Janowiec. Then walk along the road to the ponds. You can also get to this place by city bus from Puławy. You can explore the area on foot or by bike. The circular route indicated on the map is about 9 km.
