Stawy w Głowaczewie are fish ponds that are not in use anymore, and are managed by the West Pomeranian Natural Society. They occupy a total area of approx. 30 hectares. Thanks to their location close to the Baltic coast, numerous water and wetland birds can be observed here during migration. At the peak of migration, the numbers of waders reach several hundred individuals. The following species were observed here: Spatule blanche, Aigle royal, Échasse blanche, Avocette élégante, Pluvier fauve, Bécasseau falcinelle, Bécasseau rousset, Bécasseau tacheté, Bécasseau falcinelle, Chevalier à pattes jaunes, Phalarope à bec étroit, Phalarope à bec large, Glaréole à collier, Phragmite aquatique, Alouette haussecol.

Polski: Położone w pasie przymorskim stawy rybne, doskonałe miejsce na obserwacje ptaków wodnych i wodno-błotnych w czasie wiosennych i jesiennych migracji. Stawy rybne głowaczewo będące pod patronatem Zachodniopomorskiego Towarzystwa Przyrodniczego są wyłączone z użytkowania. Zajmują łączną powierznię ok. 30 hekratów, dzięki położeniu blisko wybrzeża Bałtyku stanowią miejsce licznego występowania ptaków wodnych i wodno-błotnych w czasie migracji. W szczycie migracji liczebności biegusów czy brodzców dochodzą do kilkuset osobników. The ponds are located near Głowaczewo, close to Kołobrzeg. The car should be parked at the bridge on Błotnica. Click on the P in the map for directions. The viewpoints of the pond are located in several places. The entire visit lasts from 1 to several hours. The circular walk indicated on the map is about 2 km.

The dike between the ponds is often heavily overgrown and getting around a large pond can be problematic, long pants are a good idea. The most convenient way to observe birds is from the embankment along the Błotnica River.
