Description
Santockie Zakole Reserve is a valuable natural place. 176 bird species have been recorded here, including 150 breeding ones. The reserve area consists of extensive meadows and wetlands, mostly flat and covered with rare trees (over 200 monumental trees), with fragments of forest. The area covers almost 499 hectares and there are over 300 species of plants here.
In the northern part of the reserve, on the banks of the Warta River, there is a fortified settlement.

Teren rezerwatu to rozległe łąki i mokradła, teren jest w większości płaski i porośnięty rzadkimi drzewami (ponad 200 pomnikowych drzew), z fragmentami lasu. Obszar obejmuje prawie 499 hektarów i występuje tutaj ponad 300 gatunków roślin.
W północnej części rezerwatu, nad brzegiem Warty, znajduje się grodzisko.

The best way to get to Santockie Zakole Reserve is by car or bike from the village of Borek. In the area you should travel on foot or by bike - although in some places you will have to walk the bike due to the paths that are not very passable.
The area is vast, and it is not possible to buy anything in the area - it is worth stocking up at least with water. The path (about 8 km) is marked, but pay attention to the route so as not to get lost in the area.

Polski: Na miejsce najlepiej dostać się samochodem lub rowerem od strony miejscowości Borek. W terenie należy poruszać siępieszo lub rowerem - choć miejscami rower trzeba będzie prowadzić z powodu mało przejezdnych ścieżek.
Obszar jest rozległy, a na terenie nie ma możliwości zakupienia czegokolwiek - warto zaopatrzyć się przynajmniej w wodę. Ścieżka jest oznaczona, ale zwracaj uwagę na trasę, aby nie błądzić w terenie.
