The palace and park in Rogalin are a popular weekend getaway and excursion destination. The palace grounds include a museum, art gallery, and coach house. The park originally served as a menagerie for the palace's residents.
The park is home to the "Rogalin Oaks," known throughout Poland, which reference a legend concerning the origins of the Polish state. Especially in spring and early summer, the park resounds with birdsong, and the Warta River valley is nearby. Within the park and the Warta River meadows, you'll find the largest concentration of monumental oaks in Europe - ca 1,400, most of which have been designated as natural monuments.

Rogalin can be reached from nearby Poznań by bus from the Poznań bus station, which is located next to the train station. Alternatively, you can travel by car. There's a large parking lot right next to the entrance to the park and palace, which may be subject to a fee on weekends and during the tourist season (spring and summer).
