The Beka reserve includes marshy salt meadows, meadows that are changing wet and sedge thickets, as well as rushes and dune formations. During spring and autumn migration, flocks of ducks (Canard colvert , Canard siffleur , Canard pilet , Sarcelle d'hiver , Sarcelle d'été , Tadorne de Belon ), waders ( Vanneau huppé , Combattant varié , Chevalier gambette , Bécasseau variable , Bécasseau cocorli ) and Grue cendrée can be observed. In summer there are nesting Vanneau huppé, Chevalier gambette, Bergeronnette citrine , Bergeronnette printanière , Tadorne de Belon and Grue cendrée here.

You can park on the side of the road close to the observation tower. Click on the P in the map to get directions. Best way to explore the area is by bicycle, but you can go on foot as well.
