This part of the Grabia River is relatively flat area, mostly covered with forest along the river. Possibility to observe many birds associated with such an environment. For example Martin-pêcheur d'Europe, Héron cendré, Grande Aigrette, Canard colvert, Foulque macroule, Fuligule morillon, Grèbe castagneux, Troglodyte mignon, Mésange nonnette, Mésange huppée and Autour des palombes. In the northern part there is a reservoir at the dam in the river. In the southern part there are fish ponds.

Meanders of the Grabia River is located 25 km southwest of Łódź. Press P on the map for directions to a parking spot. In the field, it is best to travel by bike or on foot. The roads may not be passable for cars, especially since driving in forest areas may be prohibited. It is best to leave your car in the parking space marked on the map. In some places you have to walk to reach the river. The circular route shown on the map is about 7 km.
