The Okręt lake is situated in the depressions of the Bobrówka river valley. The lake is one of the largest natural reservoirs in central Poland.

Description

The natural value of Jezioro Okręt is a great abundance of birds, both during the breeding and migration period. One of the rarer birds that probably breed here is Gorgebleue à miroir. During the migration period, there are large flocks of wetland birds and many ducks on the lake. Among the birds you can encounter are Vanneau huppé, Canard souchet, Sarcelle d'été, Sarcelle d'hiver, Fuligule milouin, Canard pilet, Fuligule morillon, Fuligule milouinan, Bernache nonnette, Oie rieuse, Busard des roseaux and Pygargue à queue blanche.

There is no major problem with access to the lake. You can leave your car, for example, in the village of Krępa.
