At Jezioro Łoniewskie it is best to observe the lake surface from the side of Osieczna and the town of Stanisławówka located on the opposite shore. The eastern part of the lake, which is surrounded by a wide strip of reeds, is the least accessible. The undoubted symbol of the lake is the Panure à moustaches, which has been researched by local ornithologist Janusz Stępniewski for almost 40 years. At the observation site you can meet a wide range of birds associated with the aquatic environment, such as Oie cendrée, Butor étoilé, Blongios nain, Héron cendré, Grande Aigrette, Gorgebleue à miroir, Râle d'eau and Gallinule poule-d'eau.
This area is not only a lake and the surrounding reed bed, but also a belt of meadows and trees where you can encounter birds such as Râle des genêts, Caille des blés, Roselin cramoisi, Pic cendré, Pic vert and Pic noir.

The easiest way to get to Jezioro Łoniewskie is by car, which can be left not only in Osieczna, but also in any other place near the lake. You can also cycle along the lake. Access by public transport (bus) to Osieczna. The best way to get around the lake shore is on foot.
