This small reservoir is more of a floodplain than a lake. Its field character attracts significant numbers of waterfowl. Numerous ducks (up to 600) find a resting place here - Canard colvert, Sarcelle d'hiver, Canard chipeau, Canard siffleur, Canard souchet, Canard pilet. In summer, when the water level drops and reveals muddy banks, the place becomes attractive for: Chevalier sylvain, Grand Gravelot, Bécasseau cocorli, Bécasseau variable, Bécassine des marais. In the surrounding fields, during migration and in winter, it is easy to observe numerous geese.

Polski: Ten niewielki zbiornik wodny jest raczej rozlewiskiem niż jeziorem. Jego śródpolny charakter przyciąga znaczne ilości ptaków owdno - błotnych. Miejsce odpoczynku znajdują tutaj liczne kaczki (do 600 sztuk) - Canard colvert , Sarcelle d'hiver , Canard chipeau , Canard siffleur , Canard souchet , Canard pilet. Latem, kiedy poziom wody opada odkrywając błotniste brzegi, miejsce staje się atrakcyjne dla : Chevalier sylvain , Grand Gravelot , Bécasseau cocorli , Bécasseau variable , Bécassine des marais. Lake Hubert is located between the villages of Jarzębowo and Korzęcin. The site can be reached by car or bike (there is a bike path). You can park your car along the bike path or drive into the bay by the field. Press a P on the map for directions.
