Description
The Jeziorko Czerniakowskie reserve with an area of approx. 50 hectares is located in the oxbow lake of the river Vistula. The lake itself has an area of approx. 20 hectares. Its shores overgrown with reeds are an ideal shelter for waterfowl. The allotment gardens and park and recreation areas located on the banks are also a good habitat for other birds living in the city. The area is an almost wild place in the middle of the city.

Polski: Przede wszystkim jest to niemal dzikie miejsce w środku miasta. Rezerwat o powierzchni ok. 50 ha usytuowany w starorzeczu Wisły. Samo Jeziorko ma powierzchnię ok. 20 ha. Zarośniete trzciną brzegi stanowią idealne schronienie dla ptactwa wodnego. Usytuowane na brzegach ogródki działkowe i tereny parkowo-rekreacyjne są dobrym habitatem także dla innych ptaków zamieszkujących miasto.
