You can find a Locustelle luscinioïde here resounding in the extensive reed beds. As well as listen to the singing of a Bruant ortolan and a Rossignol philomèle on the edge of the forest. If you are lucky, you may even notice an Hibou moyen-duc flying silently over the local fields. The forest itself also hides many interesting species such as Grimpereau des bois, Pouillot siffleur and Roitelet triple-bandeau.
If you are here in autumn, you can expect waders, which include Chevalier sylvain, Chevalier aboyeur and Chevalier guignette. The river itself also has a lot to offer, Harle bièvre and numerous Cygne tuberculé breed here. In the morning, the loud cry of the Grue cendrée resounds here, as it brings out its nests here. Dolina Prosny is located directly northwest of the town of Kalisz. The easiest way is to park in one of the nearby parking lots or take public transport (Bażancia pętla) where city buses run. Press P on the map for directions to the parking. It's quite a large area. To get an idea of the distances: The walk from the parking to the observation tower is about 3 km one way.
