The observation site is located in the city center, near Poznań Cathedral and several interesting sites related to Poznań's history (worth a visit). The Cybina River is a right tributary of the Warta River. The banks are overgrown with reeds and willow clumps. The site is particularly interesting in winter (especially in a severe winter like 2026), when the surrounding reservoirs freeze. At that time, the Cybina River in this section is one of the few places in the area with free-flowing water. This situation causes a gathering of water-related birds, sometimes quite unexpectedly like Harle piette, Harle bièvre, Canard siffleur.

The location makes transportation easy. This place can be reached from the city center by bike or by public transport – bus or tram. From this place you can easily travel along the entire course of the Warta River in Poznań or visit the nearby Citadel or Malta Lake.
